The process
What working together looks like
A free 15-minute consult
We talk by phone or video about what is bringing you here and what you would like to change. No obligation to book afterward.
Your first session
We map the fuller picture and agree what you want counselling to do for you. Some people leave with a first practical tool.
The work itself
Weekly or bi-weekly to start, drawing on EFT, attachment-based work, IFS, mindfulness, narrative and CBT as they fit.
Reviewing progress
We check in regularly on what is shifting and adjust. Many clients move to less frequent sessions as things settle.

Many extended health plans cover services provided by a Registered Clinical Counsellor. I don’t offer direct billing at this time, but receipts are always provided. RCC services are not covered by MSP.

Questions
A few things you may want to know
Do you offer a free consultation?
Yes. Every new client starts with a free 15-minute conversation, by phone or video. Tell me what’s going on, ask whatever you’d like about how I work, and see whether I feel like the right fit. Nothing is booked at the end of it unless you want it to be.
Do you offer online counselling across British Columbia?
Yes. Secure video sessions are available to anyone in BC and work just as well as meeting in person for most concerns. It suits North Shore clients with tight schedules, families spread across the province, and people who simply feel more at ease at home.
Do you work with young people?
Yes. I see teens and youth aged 15 and up for anxiety, low mood, school stress, identity questions and conflict at home, with parents supported alongside. Years of work in schools and community settings sit behind that, so young people tend to settle in quickly.
